  If you want to find out if he is serious ask him to come by and see the
car in person, possibly take your car for a test drive. My observation has
been, judging from the postings of our friends in Scandinavia, that most
flew stateside to check over prospective cars before they went to the
trouble and expense of having them shipped overseas. Did this fellow ask for
extensive photos or if he could have the car mechnically inspected ? I think
that most of your questions will be answered after you quote him a price,
most normal people will try to haggle down or want to know what they are
getting for their money.

Hi Folks,

I have been contacted by a guy from the United Arab Emirates named
Mohammad al Shamsi who says he wants to buy my 1968 Imperial.  He has
contacted me twice and, so far, his e-mails have not followed the
typical overseas scam artist's pattern.  There has been no mention of a
cashiers check or an "agent" here in the U.S., etc.

Has anyone else been contacted by him?
