Not knowing how well the car was maintained in the past, if the radiator
and heater core are original or have been in there a long time, I would just
recore both. In my experience, when I have bought used cars, people don't
tend to maintain the cooling system, and when the heater core goes, the radiator
isn't far behind. They get eaten by nasty stuff formerly known as coolant.
Thermostat aught to go too.
