Title: Meddelande
By-pass
the heater control valve temporarily, until you can fix it. Put a
valve in to the hose so there's a way to turn of the heat, I have done it in
one of our -66 converts:

I just caught your email... so it turned out to be the heater coil
leak.. glad I could help out.
I am having the same problem as I
mentioned. If you happend to discover a place that can fix this problem,
other than the local radiator shop, ie, replacement etc.. I'd love to know how
it progresses so I can do the same with my 67.
Thanks

As many of you suspected, I did find a small
puddle of coolant on the
passenger's side mat. Now, who has done this
repair/replacment in a '66?
How
involved? And where did you find
parts? I bookmarked a bunch of ads in
Hemmings, but I also tried NAPA who
was no help (and this is a GREAT
NAPA
store: always able to find parts
for my '62 C*met). I'm hoping this
won't be
expensive or the kind of
thing where I have to put in something
questionable
from a junkyard.
Thanks for the further info in
advance.
