Over here in the U.K , we have warning labels on
the new types oil if it is compatible for older car engines.This summer I
switched to a 30 w oil & found that it seemed to stay cleaner longer. The
brand that I buy from is a specialist Oil manufacturer, they make oils for
lubricating Steam Locomotives & metal cutting etc. I must admit the car
runs very smooth & perhaps a little quieter than the 20/40's I used in the
past.
