Re: IML: 64 Imperial eBay investigation

Hello all:

The day that I found the fraudulent auction and emailed the list about it, I emailed the buyer of the auction and reported it online to the Ebay motors online chat specialist who sent the case to the fraud department.  I received an email back from the buyer, who had already noticed that there were two auctions on the car and had done investigative work of his own and found out that the auction from GA was bogus, but he thanked me for taking the time to email him about a possible problem anyway.  I was glad to see that the buyer himself was on the ball and had already been aware of the situation, reported it, and had determined which was the accurate auction.  He and his wife are collectors of a number of vintage Mopars, as well, and I asked him in my reply if they wouldn't also become members of the Imperial club.  Hopefully in the near future we will all be getting a "WELCOME A NEW IML MEMBER" email regarding Doug and Vicki Ash.
