When I was in high school, my parents had a '69 New Yorker 2dr hdtp. Seems to me, at a glance, it appeared to look just like an Imperial except the front end and back end were a little different. It was a 440 car. I used to bury the needle at will on that thing. I don't know what the weight difference would be, but anyway, I don't doubt I was doing in excess of 130mph because burying the needle was pretty effortless and there was gas pedal left. Top end was the only way I could catch a particular hopped up 383 orange 69 Charger. I guess I would expect that kind of speed out of the 67. If I felt the need to find out...of course. :-)
