Ken,
E-bay is your best bet for the owner's manual /
driver's hand book. There seems to be a guy who has a whole set of
pristine books. They come up all the time. You also get another
couple of items included. I think the entire book is on the web site,
thanks to Mike Trettin, who scanned in my copy. Of greater importance,
service manuals come up on e-bay quite frequently as well. You
really need one of these if you haven't already
got one. You'd need a couple of CDs to hold all the scans from the
manual.
You can probably get the chrome strip you need from
Dr. Mopar, who is alive and well and still in the scrap yard business.
Take a picture of the area it needs to go. I'm pretty sure what you
need, but it will help a supplier to know what you need and where to
look for it. Dr. Mopar has two 58s. This is relevant as the size of
the strip is different in 57, 58 and 59. It grew every year.
Here is Dr. Mopar's e-mail:
All the best,
Hugh
