I drove by the "abandonned" '91 again this morning on my way to work. The body and interior are fine. The plate has been removed, which certainly isn't a good sign, and I can tell that the shop has shoved it to the end of their lot, which is City property. They must be hoping it will be towed off. I was wild-as_ed busy today, so I didn't have a chance to follow up on the car. I'll force myself to stop and deal with the mechanics tomorrow and ask around about the '91. It'll be interesting to find out what befell it.
