Hot Spitfire

Dennis

The Royal is the 1940 "Imperial" as far as I can tell.
The chassis came out of Detroit as a Windsor, wwhich
was shipped to South Australia. It has a 39 4 door
cabin with a 40 clip and dash. The rear fenders are
sort of 40 blended to meet the 39 body. The interior
is the same as a 39 Imperial. The only diffefrence
seems to be the 6, not the straight 8. This was
probably all due to the war. I've only had it for a
couple of months, and I'm still searching for it's
history. My dad was sure he saw it (or it's sister) on
a recent show about our government in WW2.

Have a look at

That's what it was like before I brought it home.
