Imperial sighted in Blade Runner movie?

I saw the movie about 5 years ago. The Imperial shows up several times.

Yes,  it is a 1960 Coupe.

I was at a dinner when the movie's set designer was
asked why he used an Imperial in the scene.  He
answered by saying he had a large hole in the shot and
needed something really large to fill it.  The
Imperial was the largest, most retro-futuristic thing
he could find!!!
