Rob Nothing is wrong with my motor, but I am always looking for solutions to potential problems. The 80's Imps are getting harder to find. I have an 82 with 23,400 on it after it was converted. The door sticker is smudged and I can't read the mileage. I know where it was converted do you think the dealer would have that information on hand for me, after all those years? What was your problem and what was the fix, on your 83? On my 82 I think the brakes are not right! I cant get the wheels to lock when I stand on the break peddle at slow speeds say 10 mph. The peddle seams soft what do you think???? K car window motor Larry, I can't answer this definitively, but I know my Daytona window motor is NOT the same as my '83 Imperial. You MIGHT be able to adapt it, but I'm not sure. What's wrong with your window motor? I used the "Home Depot" fix on mine for about 75 cents.
