67 paint question

BB1 is definitely the code for formal black for the 1967 Imperial.

 

BB1 for the 1960 = The first letter designates the side roof insert colour; the second letter designates the body colour; the numeral specifies the code for two-tone paint, convertible top, etc. 

 

I can't confirm if this is still relevant for the 1967 but B still meant formal black.

I thought that BB1 was a blue and XX1 was black, but I have no Imperial paint code book, but Charger was X for black. Joe Machado
