Give me a Brake

Thanks once again to everyone who contributed advice on my brake situation. As far as I know all of the brake lines were replaced two years ago when I bought the car, and the drums were also all relined, so the system should be in very good condition. I have a while to ponder my decision, but I like Hugh's idea of the dual pots under the bellows, even though this would still not enable me to check the brake fluid on my own. I am wondering why they have to be under the bellows, and can't be moved off to the side for easier access. If Karps is rebuilding the units, they must have a good idea of how the old system works, and they should be the ones to do the work. I will have to start making phone calls to various brake shops in the area to see who is knowledgeable with the system. My big advantage is being in Southern California which is car capitol of the world, and probably has the most classic cars also.
