You would never know the Dimension IVs are made by Yokohama. That name does not appear anywhere on the tire. And in every other respect they are good tires. So are the Toyos. That name does appear on the tire. I had the same feeling you have but if it's a good tire and there isn't much else, what do you do? As Chris said, overall we constitute a very small percentage of the marketplace. So that almost forces us to buy Japanese or deal with a specialty manufacturer like Coker and pay high prices.
