emergency flashers

It might settle the discussion to know the production dates of these cars.
Do you know how to decode the data plate?   If it is the same as 67, the
bottom line on the data plate contains the production date - there are 6
groups of digits/characters on the bottom line, starting with YM27K (for a
67 convertible), yours would probably start YH4----, and followed by a 2
digit, then a 1 digit, then a 3 digit group, and next to last is a second 3
digit group, which is the date of production (in my case, 908 meaning
September 8th), and finally a 5 digit group of numbers whose significance
escapes me at the moment.

The data plate on my 67 is on the left front inner fender, about 1 foot
behind the battery.  I don't know where they are on the 66s, but they should
not be hard to find.
