TQ's and other carbs

If your TQ is a good one (and if you are getting 15-16 mpg you need to put
an armed guard around it) and yours seems to be. Once it warps or gives
problems it becomes a different story. The WCFB and AFBs are WONDERFUL
carbs, simple, dependable, and efficient.
