to hood ornament or not to hood ornament?

matching passenger rear view mirror. I think they would look great on the car, as I have seen few that have them. My question is, would their be any reason not to put these on?

I think they would look absolutely horrible on your car.  In fact they would look so bad that you should sell them both to me for $1

 

Seriously the hood ornament looks might fine on the front of a '59.  Go ahead and put it on there.
