restoration order?



What I normally do and see done (assuming you don't
need the car to be driven for a while) is get the body
finished first, then move on to the glass, rubber
seals, etc, then the interior and electronics.

Then the fuel, exhaust system, brakes, and lastly the
engine & tranny.

'course I've also seen times when the engine & tranny
are done first... but when I've seen that, it's
normally when a special hot rod engine setup is being
built and the car is obtained after the engine &
tranny is done... that way it just gets "droped in".

That and if you have to drive it (i.e. daily driver),
I'd get the safety stuff done first (brakes, etc) and
then the reliability stuff (engine et al).
