NOS

Hal, unless you are trying to build a show car, NOS makes no sense and could
actually be a liability in terms of reliability. Face it, unless it's a not
mechanical part, it's 40 years old. New parts are probably as good, if not
better, and certainly cheaper. The RV2 compressor is readily available
anywhere. I've won awards at local shows with my non original RV2
compressor and the judging I've done at local shows we never got down into
that level of detail. If you took the car to a major MOPAR meet you might
get a ding for a non-origional tag on the compressor. I would not worry
about it a second if it were me.

For instance, on the 300 I've been painting and documenting on the site, the
door weatherstripping was really shot. I ordered some from JC Whitney and
it came in yesterday. While not a perfect match, it will look and work fine
and very few people would have ever known the difference had I not broadcast
it to the world through this email.

Good luck. Are you coming to Anniston?
