There is another term you will see as well called NORS which means New Old Replacement Stock. This is generally applied to stock that was new and sat around on some parts shelves for years, and was made by aftermarket manufacturers and sold by local parts houses; Although in some cases they were the actual manufacturer for the factory parts as well. ie: spark plugs that said Mopar but were made by Champion, etc............................Bill B.
