Welcome to the club. I also have a 68 Imperial convertible it to was in really bad shape. I used a 68 2 door hard top for parts. I had to use both quarter panels and the trunk lid and both doors and fenders and the trunk floor and the allot of the inside floor pans. One thing you might want to think about is the convertible has a heaver built body than the hard top if you can it would be better to use the hard top for parts.
