Thank you all for welcoming me to the club. Unfortunately I am pretty new at dealing with Imperials: this is my first. The am/fm radio has the foot operated option (step on a button by the headlight dimmer and the radio comes on and finds the strongest station) and I don't know about the climate control, yet. The reason I called it a 67 1/2 is that it has the grill, taillights and body panels of a 68 model, but the interior matches the 67 on the websight; also after checking the VIN # (which was on the door hinge) I found the car to be a 67 model. I still need to decode the fender tag and I will send pictures of the car on monday or tuesday. If I am wrong about the year then I would like to know because like I said I am new to the world of Imperials. In case it will help, here is the VIN #: YM23K73181293. I am the third owner of this car and I know it was special ordered. The man who ordered it actually flew to Detroit to see his car get built and so he could drive it home to Texas. Also he ordered a spare 440, a spare 727 torque-flite tranny, a spare driveshaft, and a spare rear differential with the car. They were sent to his storage building in Texas and kept there till he needed them. At 100,000 miles he swapped the motors and its only been driven 52,000 miles since then. When I bought the car I found out that the spare driveshaft and rear differential had been stolen, but I have the spare transmission still on the crate and in the plastic mopar wrapping. Any information anyone can give me would help, thank you all for your time.
