68 VIN Decoding

Thanks to all on this-my VIN is located on the dash pad! I'm accustomed
to working on 64-66 and kept looking on door posts. My 7th digit is a
"C" and according to all info I got off the Imp Web Page it should be a
"A" for Lynch Road. What does "C" stand for?
