Part number for '68 dipstick tube

Everyone-

I've consulted my '68 parts catalog to find the part numbers that Jim needs
(per the attached email) but don't find them listed. Does anyone out there
have a more exhaustive catalog that might help him out?

Subject: IML: Part number for '68 dipstick tube

Greetings folks,

If someone has a '68 parts catalog, I would appreciate getting the part
number for the dipstick tube and dipstick (my '73 parts catalog calls them
"TUBE, oil level indicator" and "INDICATOR, oil level". They are in Section
10-03-4).

Background: When I bought my '73 Lebaron it had a '68 440 HP engine in it.
The dipstick tube was in rough shape and eventually I broke it, but I don't
know if it (and the dipstick itself) were originally from the '68 engine or
the '73 car! According to the Year One website, the '70 and later
tubes/sticks are different than 68/69.

I am also wondering if the calibration of the dipstick will be messed up by
interchanging tubes but not sticks!

I think what I want is a '73 tube & stick as long as the calibration is
still accurate. When it comes right down to it, I don't really know if the
tube & stick I had was indicating properly!

In addition to the part number, if anyone knows the difference between these
tubes/sticks, I would appreciate being enlightened!

Thanks,

Jim Stacey
