Hi there team Just trying to put things right with
this old girl ,but have nothing to compare it with in my area .Can any one help
with parts or photos /drawings for the linkage that conects the auto
pilot to the carb.My unit seems complete but has nothing outside of the auto
pilot,just a small ball joint on the fulcrum that obviously operates the
missing link.I have Also had problems fitting the drive belts to the air
con , generator and power steering, the book shows two options of belts one
with a/c and no idler ,one with no a/c and an idler.Mine however has a/c and an
idler and a third drive grove of a smaller diameter on the back of the water
pump,this is the only grove that lines up with the generator but the generator
has two groves in its pulley.When I bought the car the generator was driven by
one belt direct from the crank shaft pulley via the idler and utilizing one of
the two groves that should have driven the a/c.and nothing at all on the air con
unit.I guess what I need to know is ,is there any one out there that has air con
with power steering and also has an adjusting idler in the belt lay
out.
