I couldn't agree with you more, Jim. While we don't own any cars that have
been fully restored, my two Imperials have both been beautifully repainted
in their original colors and both always draw crowds at shows and cruises.
This past summer, we vacationed in PA for a week with the '68 sedan, driving
it like a "daily driver", even in the rain. Two weeks later we entered it in
the AACA Special Fall National Meet and it won a Third Junior. We've taken
several trips in the '56 Imperial also, and I even drive it to work
occaisionally. That's the whole point of having cars we love so dearly ---
driving them!!
