why gm anything? this isn't a gm list! was gm alternator

I'm with Elijah here, I joined this to talk about Imperials built by
CHRYSLER, not to hear recomendations to modify them with GM parts. If I had
wanted that, I'd have been on a street rod list. Then I could be like my
buddy in town with the 41 Ford with gm driveline, He gets to buy lots of
lovely gm parts, including alternators. I'd rather not bodge MY Imperials
with GM parts. I don't want to get into the service work I've done on GMs in
the past, but I'll just say that I don't care to use or replace any more of
their parts, thats one of the main reasons I am on this list and why I drive
Mopars. Sorry Mike, but I really think that gm part recomendations are ill
advised, and honestly, are off-topic for this list. Whats next, bowtie
engine swaps? ewwww....clone rodders.
