the reg. is the key but also you probably will never pull more than 25
amps at idle,,or at speed, unless the battery is low and thats only for
a short time,.the old regulators left somthing to be desired ,,.my 61
imperial really likes the late alternator as dose my 59 crown and my 57
desoto,.all through the stock wireing,,,.except for regulator
wireing,,,..rick
