I have a set that can be used as templates or even damaged in the process if you're willing to send a new set in exchange. The condition here would be that you're positive that you can do it and will follow through on the project. I don't feel like tearing mine out and shipping them unless its a sure-thing. That makes 3 of us that want them. Ebay and the rest of the list probably contain several more. I'd think that you could get $40-$50 per set on ebay every so often, but that's speculation on a reason to think about making a jig for this sort of thing. -Kenyon --- Don Nonnweiler <dnonnwei@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > I'd be interested in acquiring a set of stainless inserts for my 60 > Imperial if this would help cut the cost of making them > Don > 59 Crown > 60 Crown > 65 Crown > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "kenyon wills" <imperialist60@xxxxxxxxx> > To: <mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Sunday, December 15, 2002 11:06 AM > Subject: Re: IML: 60 roof inserts > > > > --- clay-deb <clay-deb@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > > Happy Holidays everyone > > > > > > Has anyone ever attempted to reproduce the roof inserts that were > an > > > option on the 59 and 60 Imperials.? > > > It just so happens that the machine shop I work for has a fair > > > selection > > > of 303 and 304 stainless flat stock. > > > It wouldn't be too hard to make a template and glue a couple of > > > pieces to > > > the roof.
