If the one they sent you doesn't fit, then take it back and have them send you the correct one.  If you can take your old one along with you to the store, it really helps.  Don't let them keep your old one, just show them what it is supposed to be.  Unfortunately, this happens occasionally.  Someone sends something in the wrong box, they drop a bunch of boxes in the warehouse, and just stuff the parts back in as best they can, all kinds of little funnies like that happen.
