Hi all...
One of our nearest and dearest hardest working members needs a bit of help
out there. Our own chat queen...who will probably KILL me after this....is
trying to find a rear window gasket for her beloved 67 haze green sedan, "
Titanic". I had a very good friend at a local Chrysler dealership use the
locator service to find some, no dealer on the network shows them, nor did
we find any updated part numbers for them. John also tried " partsvoice"
for me, again..no luck.
So, what am I asking....maybe some of us could try some of our local glass
places, or maybe we know some old timer shop, or could call someone local to
us who deals in old parts, or obsolete stuff , that kind of thing. From
what we could tell from the parts manuals we had at our disposal, and from
what Leslie told me, there was also another gasket from some Mopar C body
stuff that would work as well for her application.

So, maybe this weekend, or in the coming weeks, some of us in this great big
country would take it upon themselves to make a call and see whats out
there. Places like soff seal, steele rubber and the like have been
tried....but imho there may be some small shop out there with a good used
one, who knows.
Ok, thats my good samaritan gig for this year. Les had no idea I was gonna
do this, its bad enough that she considers me a friend..., lets give her a
break! :) She has put lots of long hours in for our group over the
years, as have a great number of our volunteers, and I know she has gotten
her car painted this summer and the rear glass gasket has been a real bummer
for her.
