Dual Snorkel Air Filter Housing

Another trick that you might try is to turn the pie
pan upside down.  It will seal on top of the filter
but leave about 1/4 inch of an air gap all around the
housing.  If or when you want to show the car just
flip it around.  Makes a HUGE difference on my 73 at
wide open throttle.
