Whoa.. I was uhh... 19 when I bought my '66 Imp a few years ago. Hadn't thought much of that particular car until I saw it. I always felt that I would belong better about 50 years ago than now. The cars from a few decades ago had style and weren't made of recycled beercans. They had real engines, real frames (uhh..think '66 was Unit body, whatever) and made of real steel. They were made in a time when the US was truly land of the free and home of the brave. When we aimed for the stars, moonlanding. Plastic, radial tires, computers, super highways, musclecars. Things were truly looking up! It might sound a little weird.. maybe I can't explain it properly but the older cars, especially the Mopars, just feel RIGHT to me.
