Fire possibility from 6V solenoid??

Fire possibility from 6V solenoid??



Dick, is there a way to step up 6vdc to 12vdc?  I've
not been able to find ANY other 6v solenoids but have
found some 12V ones.  I know if it was AC I could just
wind a transformer but with DC??
