Does anyone on the IML know anything about this 68 Imperial convertible currently on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1818665694&r=0&t=0&showTutorial=0&ed=1018765341&indexURL=0&rd=1 or about its owner, or history? I've been looking for a 68 Imperial convertible for a while. Had a good look at Carl Geffken's red one at C@x last July, and got another good look when he passed me on I-81 later that same day! Once you've seen his car, at least you know EXACTLY what you want! As for the eBay car, if it can't be red, at least I can live with turquoise. I like that color, and don't seem to have any turquoise cars in the fleet, just yet. As opposed to white, which I detest, and have three white ones in spite of myself. $4,000 might not be too far off the mark, given the interior work yet to be done, as long as there isn't much mechanical or brake work to do, and if the "recent repaint" is a positive, rather than a negative, thing. >From the pictures posted by the seller, we can't even tell whether this car enters the debate about why some 1968s have 1967 hood ornaments (or whether the recent repaint even goes all the way around the car!) Dick Woodside (wouldn't mind buying a car from Anaheim, as long as I don't get taken for ride)
