In addition to the valid points that Elijah made, as to why this particular
date was selected for our Southern Regional Chrysler & Imperial Meet, please
take note of the schedule of local Mopar events we had to work around. This
date was selected because of weather, as mid summer can be brutal in the
South. Allowing a
reasonable number of weeks to pass after the Spring Anniston Meet was also
an important consideration. Some personal schedule conflicts were also a
deciding factor as well as other local antique car events. In looking at
the local calendar of Mopar events this is the only date that works at all.

April 12 - 14 Packard & Imperial Meet - Anniston, AL
April 19 - 20 Annual Mopar Weekend - Jackson, TN
May 4th. Annual Chickamauga Region AACA show/meet - Chattanooga, TN
May 18th Meeting Tenn. Valley Region WPC Club - Chattanooga, TN
May 17 - 19 Chrysler Classic at National Trail Raceway - Columbus, Ohio
May 24 - 26 The All Mopar Southern Nationals - Renolds, GA
June 1st Annual Smokey Mopar Car Show - Sevierville, TN
June 7-9 Southern Regional Chrysler & Imperial Meet - Chattanooga,
TN
June 15th Meeting Tenn. Valley Region WPC Club - Chattanooga, TN
June 15th 10th Annual Southern - Tullahoma, TN
June 22 - 23 Tri State Chrysler Classic - Hamilton, Ohio
June 22 Tennessee Valley Mopar Club Show - Huntsville, AL
July 6th East Tennessee Mopars 14th Annual "Fun in the Sun" Car
Show - Knoxville, TN
