"1980" Mark Cross Umbrella/Port on Ebay

This package was sent from Chrysler to the  buyer of the new Imperial.
It was generally in the color code of the car itself; as far as the umbrella, umbrella case, leather folio and the leather key fob. A blank key with the crystal insert was included. The folio had a "thank you" note from Chrysler and a reduced sales flyer depicting thel leaded crystal hood ornament on the cover, two pages describing  Chrysler quality control procedures, and a back cover saying, "It's Time For Imperial" I believe the color of the contents of the package was the color of the interior leather, or the Chesterfield cloth, and not necessarily the car's exterior color. I would think these things would be valuable to serious Imperial owners since we'll never see the likes of them again. I don't think the price you listed is exhorbitant, but we all have price limits on our valuables. So, if you want this package to go with your car, then the color as well as the condition are most important.,,,Bob Harris

Subject: IML: "1980" Mark Cross Umbrella/Port on Ebay

There is a Mark Cross leather portfolio with owners manual, umbrella and key listed on ebay, 1 1/2 days left and price is up to $132.50! Are these rare?

I would like to complete my 1981 but the price seems pretty steep. From the picture looks like this is more of a sales brochure than owners manual.  What actually was supplied with a 1981-83 Imperial when it sold new?
