fellow imperialists:
i drive like a regal maniac and i need to safely stop from high speeds.
i've completely redone the original braking system on my '62 southampton,
but i still have an unpleasant vibration when i'm stopping. very
UNimperial. knowing that i have to go back and check everything again, i'm
seriously considering swapping out the original braking system for a disc
braking system. has anyone done this?
i welcome email from anyone that knows the parts i need for an easy
conversion and where i can get such parts.
as an aside, i just put a stainless steel dual exhaust and aluminum mufflers
on my '62. i got a nice small power boost on my rebuilt 413 into a 440 and
an ever-so-slight threatening growl. otherwise, its quiet in the cabin on
the road.
many thanks for your thoughts.
best regards,
max
