Wanted to add my own plug for the Anniston gathering. It is, without a doubt, the most fun car event in which I've ever participated. It is not a show! There are no judges. No trophies. It's not even an Imperial thing. The Alabama Packard club hosts the event and while Imperials will be probably half the cars, there will be many other brands present, from Rolls Royce to Plymouth but all will be the pride and joy of their owners. There will be cars there in all kinds of condition from #5 to near #1 and nobody grouses when someone drives up in a daily driver. This is about cars, fun, driving, telling lies, meeting old friends and new ones too, and all that good kinda stuff. Wives have a ball too and seem to really enjoy both the fellowship and the chauffering to the mall or wherever. There will be breakdowns and repairs under the shade trees or on the side of the road and probably more tools in folks trunks than at the local Sears. Yall come!
