leaky sparks

When I turn off the lights and run the engine, spark
leaks out and jumps to the block on 2 wires that are
properly suspended and cleanly installed.  The wires
are only 2 years old and not cheapies.  

Is there anything that I can do to the new ones to
prevent recurrence, or was I just unlucky?
