Glueing emblems

Hello all,

I rarely post but I have a question. The Bronze metal trim on the door pulls in my 68 has pulled loose and I am wondering what kind of glue to use to glue them back. I tried contact cement but it will not hold for long due to the temperature fluctuations here in Colorado. Any suggestions?
