pics of my '57 convertible

Philippe,

You have a truly outstanding vehicle. My hat is off to you! It makes me
wonder if mine will ever even come close to looking anywhere near as good.
I was thinking about some of the minor "might-as-well" projects that should
be done when I take the car in to get the interior re-done this year. I
want to replace some instrument cluster bulbs, since my cracked dash is
coming out anyway. Then there is the odometer to think about, and the
clock. The radio does not work, either. As often happens the
"might-as-well" begin to proliferate. I doubt if I'll get the clock or the
radio fixed. I don't care enough about either. The music of the car is the
best I have ever heard and any other form would be very intrusive.

How quiet is your car with the roof closed? My 1985 VW in unbearable. A 69
Buick we have is worse. It's roof is a one layer piece and gives the
impression of being stuck inside a bass drum at anything above 30 MPH.

You have put so much work into your car, not to mention time and money. Do
you happen to have pictures of it when you got it for comparison purposes?

Hugh
