3+. I have only owned this car since the late summer of 2001. I purchased
the car from an ad on the Imperial site.
Self-Introduction: I have always been a Chrysler man, as my father worked
for Chrysler from day one of my life. He had company cars while I was
growing up, and often brought home Imperials. Owning a 1962 Imperial has
always been a dream of mine, and now I have one. It still needs a lot of
TLC, but my goal is to be able to have a driver while I slowly bring it back
to the glory that it deserves. My car sat for a number of years before I
bought it, so it went through a complete overhaul to be able to make it a
solid driver. I have a friend who is restoring a 61 Imperial convert, so he
has been a great help to me in fixing my Imperial. My goal is to one day
have a show quality car that I will still drive. The Imperial site is my
favorite- I visit on a daily basis, and spend way too much time enjoying all
of the information that I find. I hope to make friends with other Imperial
lovers through this site. I thank all of the members who have helped me with
my passion for my Imperial, and I look foward to finding many new friends.
