It is Claro Walnut. Not sure if you will find it veneer form on Ebay
or the Net but it's worth a try. I recently restored (replaced is a better
way of putting it) the Brazilian Rosewood in my '68 Eldorado. If you've
never worked with veneer, write me off list and I can walk you through the
steps. It's not brain surgery but there are some pitfalls to be aware
of. I can also send you some photos of the finished panels. I'm very
pleased with how they turned out. I got my veneer from Ebay...
