A while back my wife's wedding dress had a rust stain on it, and my wife got it out using a paste of water and cream of tartar. I imagine it would work on the broadcloth of an Imperial as well.

Have you or the rest of gang tried to remove rust stains in the 55 Imperial broadcloth materials under the armrests. I see in the 1961 Reconditioning booklet it said to use a rust remover. I was curious what to use on the materials. Anyone use a good product that is availible in the US.
