From: "Eric" <gearhead@xxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: IML: A-arm Bushings and Torsion Bar Adjustment I'm not a suspension wiz but could there be a firming, or pretensioning of the torsion bars with a higher ride height? It's been noted before that in the Mannix TV series of the 1960's, Mannix'sDodge Dart GT always sat on the high side in front. They did a lot of performance stunt driving with that car as I recall.
Usually the performance reason for adjusting torsion bars suspension higher than factory was to transfer weight to the rear of the car for more traction. Drag racers used to do this all the time.
