Fellow Imperialists, I am going to install a new (yes new, not refurished! Don't you love Kanter?) fuel pump on my 413. Any pitfalls, warnings, suggestions you may have will be very welcome. I've heard stories about the little piston that actuates the pump falling into the oil pan, etc. So please enlighten me before I make some boneheaded mistake... I appreciate it,

Should never use steel wool on chrome or
stainless. It will leave behind deposits that will make it rust again.

Let's pretend I have a '62 Crown with surface rust on the chrome of the windshield surround. It polishes up nicely with that blue, ammonia-laden stuff, but there's still some rust left... What do you guys recommend, extremely fine steel wool?
