I put the 1405 on my '67, but I got it from a relative and it was new in the box...he gave me a deal. I don't know what size your carter is but mine had a holley that was about 570cfm, so I guess the 1405 was way overkill @750, but it was a deal. And the car ran great after I put it on. Had to go to the hardware store and by a few cents worth of screws and washers to adapt linkage, but it went together easy. Set the adjusters by the book and away she went. Had to buy the electric choke since it didn't come with one.
