Pinks and pastels were quite common from 1955 through 1959-60.   Dark greys
and browns, on the other hand, were not that common.   The preference for
ighter colours seemed to go had in hand with fins.

As for ownership, you can get a copy of the build record from
DaimlerChrysler Historical in Auburn Hills.   It would show to which dealer
the car was shipped and how it was ordered (sold car, dealer order, sales
bank, etc.)

I just bought a pink '59 Crown Imperial, ser# M637-104158.  This car was
originally sold new in Tucson Arizona and is now in Vermont.  I wonder if
there was some connection to the music world or Hollywood?  I think it was
unusual for someone to order a pink car unless they wanted to attract
special attention.
Is there a way of tracing ownership on these cars?
