start blocking off vacuum lines. My 66 had a very slight stumble caused by a leak in the vacuum for the parking brake release. Not enough to affect driveability, but if you remove the vacuum lines and plug the vacuum ports, you have started a process of elimination. Removing the brake booster has a direct consequence on braking, by the way. I had my carb rebuilt by an expert, and no amount of cleaning had prepared me for the tremendous difference that I saw. You might want to pursue the Carb angle farther. Is your fuel delivery system OK? Did you replace the filter? A starved carb "might" be part of this. Process of elimination. -Kenyon --- "Hardrick, Brian" <HardrickBG@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > You have helped me in the past so I figured I would > give it one more > try.
